This February & March Lalitha Damodraran – Yoga Expert will be at Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra & Niraamaya Retreats Backwaters & Beyond for the very popular 'Yoga for Mind, Body, and Soul' Programm.

With her holistic approach towards Yoga, Nutrition and fitness, her classes are focused completely on practicing with the right alignment, form and are tailored to suit every individual as per their body's needs. Her classes are peppered with a lot of humor and fun but keeping the authenticity of the practice always in mind. 


Client profiling, addressing concerns and health issues if any. Blood tests will be recommended if required. Nutritional analysis and suggestions.

7 am to 8 am
Hatha Yoga- After a round of Sun Salutations, exploring deeper insights into asanas & pranayama, a brief introduction to bandhas. The practice will focus on understanding body dynamics and curating the practice to suit individual needs. An introduction to yoga asanas with modifications to suit individual levels of strength, flexibility, and balance.

6 pm to 7 pm
Evening wind down practice to prepare the body for rest and restoration. Asanas that focus on restoration, healing, and relaxation along with breathing practices to calm the nervous system. Finish the practice with a short yoga Nidra to access your inner self.

7 am to 8 am
Yoga for detox/destress/digestion
A powerful & strong sequence of asanas to detox and release toxins from the body involving several postures and stronger bandhas to strengthen the gut, improve digestion & liver functioning and build abdominal strength.

6 pm to 8 pm
Yoga for a Strong Spine & Back
You are as young as your spine. Spinal health is of utmost importance as one age and it is essential to create good movement along the spine to maintain the natural flexibility of the spine. A strong back is important to maintain the integrity of our posture and to avoid issues like slip disc, cervical spondylosis, etc. A gentle yet powerful sequence to improve back and spine strength. Wind down the practice with some deep stretching asanas to restore the whole body and activate the parasympathetic nervous system.

Access your Core - It's all in your GUT.
A strong Core lays the foundation for a strong body & mind. It's all in your gut. A strong practice to understand core abdominal muscles and how to strengthen the overall core strength of the body. A good core is important to function every day without aches and pains, a good core also directly translates to a strong and stable mind that aids in decision making, ability to handle tough situations and to keep the good overall health of the body and mind. Finish the practice with some pranayama practices and seated meditation.
